It seems that Balmain replaced creative director Christophe Decarnin with Oliver Rousteing as the first step in “recreating” the brand, but now the house has confirmed that they will be launching a new children line in September 2011 called “Pierre Balmain,” named after the founder of the fashion house. Balmain states that the line will be more youthful and best of all, cheaper than the parent line.

Celebrities such as Ciara, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Jay-Z and so much more have been seen dressed down in Balmain clothing.


With regular Balmain prices hovering around $3,000 for a dress and $5,000 for a jacket, we’re assuming ‘affordable’ means in the $300-$500 range…


The first collection will be for Spring/Summer 2012, so if you liked what your fav celebs were rocking then look out for the release next year!
