Invest in timeless pieces.
It’s not so much what you wear as how you wear it. Currently the fashion world is entranced with the timeless, understated looks that stylists and fashion editors love. Build your wardrobe around key basics, like blazers and uniform jackets. Invest in a good-looking parka or trench coat. Cool classics like pencil skirts, chinos and slacks are back. Combine with leather accessories (oversized, distressed bags, woven belts with Moroccan buckles), silk head wraps and huge sunglasses. This season khaki and denim will be focal points, along with crisp T-shirts and the always right, white shirt.
Other things that will be great are pantsuits with fitted jackets, white frill blouses, fuller skirts and pintuck dresses.
Just remember: it’s all in styling.

Cheryl Cole took the color blocking trend to create an awesome look along with her huge bouffant hairdo in Los Angeles for the first day of the US X Factor auditions.
The British star was looking colorful and cute in an elegant orange Oscar de la Renta ruffled silk top, with Diane von Furstenberg’s high-waisted purple Simca stretch-cotton pants and added a Burberry Prorsum patent leather belt to the look.

Orange, royal purple and powder blue — who would have thought it would make such an awesome outfit huh?
Lace, lace, lace it up ladies! Lace is an awesome thing when it comes to looking sexy in bed or just to have in a bra and panty set BUT,

Lace isn’t anything new, but since Fall 2010 up until now, lace has definitely been the new denim or leather. Now lace is an extension to the sheer trend.

There are many different types of lace. It use to be all about the stretchy, allover lace, but nowits more so about the antique feel of the lace. Fabrics that look like a traditional needle lace with a wider net, unique pattern and sturdier fabric. Thin stretchy lace is OUT!

Now when wearing lace you are expected to make it look romantic and sensual, but not OVER-girly or OVER-suggestive. It’s about taking the lace that was once apart of a garment and making it the ONLY layer. It shouldn’t be an added detail of the garment — it IS the garment. This is how lace skirts, dresses and shirts came about. If you decide to wear them without a slip underneath keep the cut a little more relaxed or the hem a little longer to maintain that aforementioned balance.

Lace is very great thing to have in your closet be it shoes, bags, a skirt, dress, one piece, shirt, underwear or etc — get a piece of lace. It’s worth it.
Ever wondered how you could spice up your outfit when you’re wearing a bland shirt and shoes or kicks? Try colored jeans. Colored jeans have been in for over years — back in 60’s all the way to the 90’s but somewhere in 2000 we lost sight of colored jeans because the baggy style pants and mini skirts became the “new” trend.
Colored jeans is great to wear when you want a little spunk or sass to an outfit whether its for school, a date, dinner party, work or etc. The twist on colored jeans this year is that they should be skinny jeans and primary colors with tons of cute buttons, zippers, pockets and little extra details for a more “punk” affect, BUT they should be topped off with heels or sandals, maybe even high boots, on the feet — even converses. High top sneakers and skinny jeans just look weird at times — but if you want to rock them with high tops do as YOU please!
Plain jane blue, black, white and browns are out. Try a coral, teal, cobalt blue, sunshine yellow, or rosy red. Even a periwinkle blue might do.
With the right shirt and accessories your outfit can look simply A M A Z I N G and stunning ladies! Give it a try. Below are some images of celebrites rocking colored skinny jeans. (Pictures courtesy of my google search.)

This season there are no longer any dull colors in fashion, especially with blazers — we’re going completely bright and bold with color. Traditional blazers are normally brown, camel, tan, black, blue and even white, but what about a bright pink, neon orange or a bold, bright green.
Blazers are a wardrobe staple in almost every closet for men and women. For men that make any outfit look casual, but for women it’s the versatility and ability to instantly glam up any look they together.
As everyone in the world of fashion knows the outfit choices for blazers are endless. They can go with anything and make any outfit stylish. I’ve spotted a ton of people wear them in bright colors on campuses as well some celebrities.
Here are the different blazers spotted on different runways and walkways this year that both men and women can sport given the right outfit and occasion:

I know I’ll be sporting me a couple of colored blazers … will you?
Military fashion has been in style for almost a decade now. This year the style has toned down its tributes to the military style by updating it with high shoulders and flashy buttons.
The greatest thing about military inspired clothing is the fact that you can wear this trend all year round and just mix it up with shorts, jeans, cropped shirts, sweaters and so forth. You can play mix and match outfit. A pair of kicks or a pair of high stilettos will do. Just don’t over do it by wearing a complete military uniform.
Army green, camouflage, and epaulets spiced up legions of this year’s hottest items.
A few Celebrity females spotted sporting this trend:
Beyonce
Kim Kardashian & Ciara
Eva Pigford
Rihanna
A few Celebrity men spotted as well:
Chris Brown
Jay-Z
Lupe
Kanye West
Military is always chic on a lady and very masculine for a man.
So if you plan on dressing down definitely sport the military look. Whether its a jacket, pants, a shirt or footwear (ladies) definitely incorporate it in your wardrobe.
